Airweave mattress brand review

Last updated:

Unique, modular mattresses inspired by fishing line and a desire to revolutionize sleep.

This is not your grandmother’s mattress — but maybe it should be. Airweave’s Airfiber material is designed to help alleviate joint pain and pressure and promote airflow. It has a modular design and is made from eco-friendly materials.

Be aware that fans of soft, pillowy mattresses might want to steer clear. These Japanese mattresses are intentionally firm to support spine alignment.

Airweave mattress features

What are the mattresses made of?

The mattresses are all made of BPA-free, hypoallergenic, food-grade polyethylene.

Do I need a box spring?

No. A box spring is not required. But you can use one if you’d like to make it higher off the ground.

How many years does the Airweave mattress last?

Because Airfiber is a new mattress material, there’s not much data to conclude its long-term wear. But Airweave mentions that you shouldn’t ever experience that ‘sinking in’ feeling — and that their mattresses should last three years or more with only natural indentations.
