Take advantage of these deals and break your bill into four biweekly installments.

Afterpay, a buy-now-pay-later provider, is curating a series of sales starting at midnight on Thursday and running until midnight on Friday. You can take advantage of these discounts — which range from 20% to 60% off — by shopping with participating retailers, then selecting Afterpay as your payment method at checkout.

These promotions will be available with thousands of retailers that offer Afterpay, including:

  • American Eagle — fashion
  • APL — athletic footwear
  • ASOS — fashion
  • Bandier — athletic wear
  • BareMinerals — beauty
  • Ba&sh — fashion
  • Herschel Supply — accessories
  • Steve Madden — fashion
  • Sunday Supply — home goods
  • Ulta Beauty — beauty

You can see all of its Afterpay Day sales in one place on Afterpay’s website or app, starting on Thursday. Afterpay Day typically happens twice a year, in August and March.

How does Afterpay work?

Afterpay lets you break a payment into four installments instead of paying it all immediately when you make a purchase. When you’re shopping online with a participating retailer, you can choose it as a payment method at checkout.

How to sign up for Afterpay

You can either sign up for Afterpay during the checkout process with a participating retailer or through Afterpay directly.

You’ll add a payment method, which will automatically be charged every two weeks. The exact amount of each installment varies, depending on your purchase.

  • Good to know: Afterpay accepts debit and credit cards, including American Express

What to watch out for

Afterpay doesn’t charge upfront fees and you won’t accumulate interest. The only time you would pay an extra fee is if your payment method is unsuccessfully processed and you don’t update your account with a new payment method after being notified. If that happens, you’ll be charged a late fee.

Late fees vary depending on the total amount due and your history with Afterpay but are capped at 25% of the order volume.

Can I pay my Afterpay bill early?

Yes! If you want to take advantage of Afterpay Day sales but don’t want a bill lingering over your head, you could pay the bill right away. Here’s how:

  1. Log into your Afterpay account online or through the app.
  2. Click Pay Now and enter a credit or debit card number.

That’s all it takes.
