How we selected our top cards
We looked at all credit cards that offer at least 4% cash back on any category. Then we narrowed those cards down by comparing factors such as their annual fee, intro APR and signup bonus. We highlighted the cards that stood out in one or more category.
What’s changed in 2019
Despite having a higher signup bonus potential, we switched the Discover it® Cash Back card with the Savor® Rewards from Capital One®. That’s because you need to spend $5,000 with the Discover it® Cash Back to earn the same bonus as opposed to $3,000 with the Savor card.
